How are your food trucks used in the marketplace?

Our goal is to get the word out and show people that Tiff’s Treats is more than just a cookie company.

We want to be a part of the communities where we do business, and we hope that through our actions, people can see that we care.

Just this week, one of our trucks is in El Paso, Texas to deliver 3,000 cookies to the nurses and doctors in the community.

A warm cookie during the middle of a stressful medical shift is a small gesture, but it can mean the world to someone who is working hard to help others.

Name a time where one of your food trucks really proved its worth.

This year for Valentine’s Day we partnered with Kendra Scott to do cookies and jewelry.

During this HUGE event, one of our stores lost power, so our truck was deployed to that location and gave us the opportunity for a “superhero” moment.

We used the food truck ovens and kitchen to keep the orders and store running while we waited for the power to be restored. It was a life saver having the truck that day, during such an unexpected and ill-timed power outage.

How does the community react to your trucks?

Our trucks have provided us unique opportunities to bring the community together while also being a revenue generating machine.

For example, we partnered with SXSW in Austin, Texas and had yet another opportunity to educate people about our brand and be a part of a huge event.

The line for our cookies went around the block and people were excited to take pictures in front of our truck!

It’s rewarding to see people’s reaction when they see the truck and it’s a great way to connect with people who might not otherwise know about our brand.

We are continuing to explore more opportunities to use our trucks as a marketing tool and to connect with our customers!

Why did you select Curbside Upfitters as your food truck builder?

Food trucks are the new frontier for marketers and entrepreneurs, and we wanted a robust food truck design and build company that could deliver higher quality truck builds and integrate our team into the design process to tackle our unique challenges.

Tiff’s Treats and Curbside Upfitters use the same vendor for our restaurant equipment, so we’ve built valuable relationships along the way to grow Tiff’s Treats and build food trucks equipped to handle our needs.

What unique challenges did Curbside Upfitters help you solve?

With the limited space in our trucks, we had to make sure every square inch was accounted for. Our biggest challenge was maximizing the space to be able to bake and package cookies in one space.

Curbside Upfitters tackled this issue by customizing a layout to maximize space and installed tech features like WIFI and computer hookups to allow us to operate just like a storefront.

Their team knows how to work with limited space, and their capacity as meant we could have multiple truck builds going to keep up with our demand. It’s nice having one vendor to handle all of our needs.

What would you say to someone looking to hire Curbside Upfitters?

The biggest thing is how well Curbside Upfitters communicates with us, and how easily they can adapt to changes and custom requests. They are always pushing us to think outside of the box and bringing new and creative ideas to maximize the build and value of the truck.

In addition to their creativity, they provide outstanding service once our trucks are out on the road. In a time of need, they’re quick to respond with a solution and very professional.

We would also recommend Curbside Upfitters because of their vast experience in the food truck and trailer industry. They are always up to date on the latest trends and have a wealth of knowledge to share.

Overall, Curbside Upfitters has been a great partner for Tiff’s Treats, and we highly recommend them for your mobile business needs.
